Puppy Training Program
Helping build our puppies foundation for a bright future
We offer customized training services exclusively for clients who get a puppy from us. Training your Southern Standard Doodle properly is a crucial part of raising a well-behaved companion. Ignoring early-stage training can lead to difficulties later on in your dog's life.
We understand that many people struggle to devote enough time to puppy training due to time constraints in today's world. This program is designed to address the concerns of those who have the time and dedication to care for a dog but recognize the challenges of puppy training.
The first sixteen weeks are the most moldable weeks of a puppies life.
I am given the first eight weeks of the puppy's life, I do everything in my power to set them up for success. So they can leave my home and go out into the big world and conquer life.
The second eight weeks are up to the you (the new owner).

Once you have joined a waiting list you can request this service at any time allowing that we have availability on your litter of reservation.
Due to the extra time and work that goes into the training, we only accept up to three puppies from each litter for the additional training. This allows us to have the extra time to focus on your puppy individually and give them the undivided attention they need for training sessions.
During the board and train your puppy will be working on basic obedience training.
They will be learning the basic commands:

We will introduce your puppy to each of our personal adult doodles for dog socializing, this helps young puppies learn boundaries and limitations while reading the other dog's body language.
We have one to two socializing days per week, one outing where we take your puppy into a public place and work on safe and appropriate socialization. And the second where new (to the puppy) people come to visit our home and meet/play with your puppy.

And lastly, everyone's favorite, we work on creating a schedule with crate time and house training.
