Our Dams & Sires AKA

Our Ladies & Gentlemen

Ladies

For us the most important things when picking our moms for our program is getting calm, easy temperaments. I prefer my dogs on the laidback side and look for this when I am picking potential moms for my program.

I also prefer the blocky face that is less poodle like. We are all about the fully furnished teddy bear look.

We start with genetic testing and place our potential ladies in a guardian home (we have more info on guardian homes here!).

Once pups are a year old, we complete OFA testing and PennHIP.

If all testing is passed and we are happy with mom's personality and look we then will raise a litter!

Gentlemen

Because we are a small, boutique style breeder, we use outside studs to help us create the most perfect pups.

When picking potential dads for our program, we start by looking through genetics as well as asking about the male's personality.

Just like with our females, we like calm, easy temperaments with a nice blocky face that will create non-shedding fluffy puppies.

Our one stud that belongs to us, Jocko, is the friendliest, outgoing poodle we have met!

He just finished his health testing and we excited to use him exclusively in our bernedoodle program.
