Frequently Asked Questions

  • What doodles breeds do you work with?
We breed Standard Goldendoodles and Standard Bernedoodles.
  • Where are you located?
We are in the Piedmont of North Carolina but can deliver your puppy anywhere in the USA.
  • Will my Southern Standard Doodle Puppy shed?
Our puppies don’t shed. They will lose hair just like you have hair fall out when you brush your locks. Keeping your puppy on a grooming schedule and brushed daily will help keep their loose hair from falling on the floor. Your puppy will go through a coat change as they mature and their adult coat comes in! So if you feel like your non-shedding puppy is all of a sudden blowing their coat, they are likely in that stage of change. Make sure you are brushing often to avoid matting!
  • Are puppies vet checked?
Yes! All puppies are vet checked at 6 weeks old. They are up to date on their vaccines and deworming. All puppies have a clear bill of health from the vet before they head home!
  • Can I buy a doodle puppy with breeding rights?
No, we don’t sell puppies with breeding rights. All of our puppies are sold as pets only with a spay/neuter contract.
  • How much does a Southern Standard Doodle puppy cost?
This varies from litter to litter as each litter may cost more or less to raise because of stud fees, maternal care, etc.. Please text me for questions about pricing!
  • How do I pick up my puppy?
You are welcome to pick up from our home or I can deliver your puppy to the airport of your choice and you can pick your puppy up curbside! You are also welcome to fly into North Carolina and I can meet you curbside at our airport as well.
  • Can I have my puppy flown cargo to me?
No. We don't fly puppies cargo simply because it is to stressful for the puppy and can cause life time trauma. If you need your puppy delivered, your puppy will fly in-cabin with me! This helps make things less stressful for your puppy. I will make sure your puppy is comfortable and happy the whole trip to you!
  • What if the litter of my deposit doesn't have a suitable puppy for me at the time of my selection?
You have the choice to move your deposit to a future litter for up two litters.
